Status Update: September

Hello again! Like the title says there won’t be a story here but some updates on my writing and my life.

Should anyone still be curious about the fantasy novel, it is about halfway through the final stages of editing. My wife is helping me finish with the editing, and as a thank you to her please consider stopping by her site. We are hoping -once again- to have the book fully available by Christmas.

The reason I’m implying that I do not think anyone is still interested is not because the book is bad but because it’s taken a lot longer to finish that I thought it would (I started writing it in 2016). However, I have learned a lot about writing novels through this experience. Should the book actually get a positive response, then I will be ready to write the sequel.

My Facebook author page is still going, I wouldn’t say it’s going strong though. It’s existing. It’s not as interesting now that I’ve taken a break from writing satire. I will continue to post short stories there however and memes but it’s nowhere near as interesting as I had hoped it would be.

I did release a series of shorts on Aathis the last Redd Dragon as well, and they seem to be pretty good. I haven’t gotten a lot of feedback on the story but what I have gotten has been positive. And because the feedback I have gotten has described my story as engaging, I have decided to wrote a series of prequels here.

What I am having fun with on Facebook is my Christmas page. It’s been great sharing Christmas cheer and counting down the days until December 25! I do not know how far this page will go but I am happy with it. It’s been a great hobby. I launched the page in June and as of today it has 239 likes and 309 followers. I think that’s pretty good for a page that’s only been around less than 3 months.

Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to find more ways to tie in the mentality of October with the Christmas season.
